Can i apply ?
You can apply if you meet one of the following conditions:
– you graduated from one of Kosovo secondary schools, whose programs included Biology, Chemistry and Physics;
-you have graduated from one of Kosovo medical or pharmacy secondary schools;
– You graduated from a secondary school of another country (you must submit a certificate and a diploma for completing 12 years of schooling);
If you are a graduate of a higher education institution, from the fields of medical sciences or natural sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), you are eligible for admission.
Recognition of certificates, respectively foreign diplomas, must be done by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Selection procedure
1. Students who did not have to undergo Matura exam, as well as candidates who did not complete secondary school in the Republic of Kosovo:
Get up to 20% of the score by the results of secondary school (each secondary school certificate, if the results are maximal, is awarded five points);
Get up to 80% of the score with the entrance exam.
2. Students who have successfully passed the Matura exam:
Get up to 20% of the score by the results of the secondary school (each high school certificate, if the results are maximal, is awarded five points);
Get up to 50% of the score from the Matura exam;
Get up to 30% of the score by the entrance exam.
Selection process is carried out in two phases:
1. First Phase: Academic Evaluation (Biology, Chemistry and Physics knowledge assessment) – 30% of the score (for students who have successfully passed the Matura exam), respectively 80% (for students who did not have matura exam);
2. Second Phase: Evaluation of non-academic personal qualities
a. assessment of communication and psycho-motor skills;
b. assessment of personal attitudes and characteristics, and
c. personality assessment.
In the second phase of the selection, candidates who reach at least 20% of the maximum number of points in the academic assessment pass the test.
To meet the ranking requirement, candidates in the second stage of the selection must at least reach the evaluation – “Recommended for Admission”
For application you must bring:
– Secondary school certificates;
– Secondary school diploma;
– Application form (obtained at the Institution).
– Decision by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology on recognition of certificates and diplomas issued abroad.
If you are admitted, you must submit the following documents for registration:
– Application form obtained at the Institution);
– Two photos (format 4.5 x 6 cm format);
– Payment sheet of the first installment.
Upon registration, you will sign the Contract with the Institution.
