Application Process

The right to register in the College have all candidates from Kosovo and foreign citizens who have a permanent residence permit. Foreign citizens that do not possess a permanent residence permit in Kosovo, have the right to register in the College according to the specified conditions by MESTI,or based on the international agreements or interinstitutional international agreements.

The conditions for admission in basic studies are:

The criteria and procedure for the admission of new students in the College are regulated by the Statute of the College and the Studies Regulations the College.

The candidates who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply:

  • all graduates of high schools in Kosovo, who have passed the matriculation exam, certified by a Diploma;
  • all graduates of high schools in Kosovo in the system who did not take the matriculation exam, certified by Diploma;
  • all high school graduates from other countries (must present the certificate and diploma for completion of 12-year education);

All candidates who graduated from an institution of higher education, in the fields of science or natural sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), meet the conditions for admission.

The recognition of certificates, respectively foreign diplomas, will be done at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.

Admission in college is based on public competition and on the basis of procedures for admission of the students.

The evaluation criteria and the decision to announce the competition are taken by the Senate of the College.

The competition contains information about the study programs offered, competition conditions, candidate selection methods, competition deadlines and information sources.

The process of advising new candidates in the College is carried out by:

  • Administrators of the respective Programs,
  • Office for Student, Career and Alumni Support; and
  • College Information Service.

Admission process

Candidate selection methods/criteria

  1. For students who have a high school diploma and have not taken the matriculation exam:
  2. Success in high school: up to 20 points
  3. Success in the entrance exam: up to 80 points
  4. For students who have a high school diploma and have successfully passed the matriculation exam:
  5. Success in high school: up to 20 points
  6. Success in matriculation exam: up to 50 points
  7. Success in the entrance exam: up to 30 points

The entrance exam according to the programs is held based on the subjects presented in the following table:

2. Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (180 ECTS)
3. Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Biochemistry (180 ECTS)
4. Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiology (180 ECTS)
5. Bachelor of Science in Community Pharmacy (180 ECTS)
6. Bachelor of Physiotherapy Sciences (180 ECTS)
7. Dentistry (300 ECTS)

Only candidates who reach 20% of the number of points required for the entrance exam have the right to application, admission.

If the number of points of several candidates is equal, the selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the overall success from the secondary school. If even after that the same phenomenon will occur, success (GPA) is obtained from professional subjects. If even after that the same phenomenon will occur, the selection of candidates will be made by the Commission for the admission of new students.

For Master’s studies, candidates for registration will be selected based on the following criteria:

  1. Success during studies at the bachelor level (GPA) = max. 60 points
  2. Publications, participation in congresses/conferences/professional meetings and other research-scientific activity = 10 points
  3. Training, other courses completed = 20 points
  4. Knowledge of the English Language (attested by certificate/diploma = 10 points

If the number of points of several candidates is equal, the selection of candidates will be made on the basis of success(GPA)during bachelor studies in professional subjects. If even after that the same phenomenon occurs, the selection of candidates is made by the Commission for the admission of new students.

Application process

The submission of documents is done at the College of Medical Sciences “Rezonanca” (in Veterrnik).

To participate in the opening (call for admission), candidates must bring:

  • Birth certificate
  • High school certificates;
  • High school diploma;
  • Application form (to be obtained and completed at the Institution).
  • The decision on the recognition of education abroad (nostrification) by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
  • Copy of the identification card

To participate in the opening/call for Master’s studies, candidates must bring:

  • Birth certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree (with 180 ECTS).
  • Application form (to be obtained and completed at the Institution).
  • The decision on the recognition of education abroad (nostrificated) by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
  • Copy of the identification card.
  • Evidence related to scientific publications (copies).
  • Evidence related to other trainings (certificates/diplomas).
  • Evidence for the English language test (certificate/diploma).

When participating in the opening (call) for admission, candidates must pay 15 Euros.

At all stages of the admission procedure, candidates must bring their identification document with them.

Admitted candidates, in order to register must submit:

  • Application form for registration (which can be obtained at the Institution);
  • A photograph of 4.5 x 6 cm format;
  • The payment slip for the first installment of the studies payment.

Upon registration, candidates sign the Contract with the College.

The rules governing admission with credit for previous studies are specified in the Statute and the Studies Regulation of the College. Decisions on the recognition of credits from previous studies are made known to students prior to admission, through the Transcript of Notes, which is prepared by the Office for ECTS.

In cases of transfer requests, the analysis of the compatibility of the syllabi is done by the Studies Committee, which draws up the report on the compatibility of the syllabi with the College’s program.

The Dean decides on requests related to the acceptance of credits for certain courses completed at another university.

If even after that we have the same phenomenon, the selection of candidates is made by the Commission for the admission of new students.

For Master’s studies, candidates for registration will be selected based on the following criteria:

  1. Success during studies at bachelor’s level (average grade of studies) = max. 60 points
  2. Publications, participation in congresses/conferences/professional meetings and other research-scientific activity = 10 points
  3. Training, other courses completed = 20 points
  4. Knowledge of the English Language (attested by certificate/diploma = 10 points

If the number of points of several candidates is equal, the selection of candidates will be made on the basis of success during bachelor studies in narrow professional subjects. If even after that we have the same phenomenon, the selection of candidates is made by the Commission for the admission of new students.

Application process

  • High school transcripts;
  • High school diploma;
  • Application form (to be obtained and completed at the Institution).
  • The decision on the recognition of education abroad (notification) by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
  • Copy of the notification letter

To appear in the competition for Master’s studies, candidates must bring:

  • Birth certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree (with 180 ECTS).
  • Application form (to be obtained and completed at the Institution).
  • The decision on the recognition of education abroad (notification) by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
  • Copy of the notification letter.
  • Evidence related to scientific publications (copies).
  • Evidence related to other training (certificates/diplomas).
  • Evidence for the English language test (certificate/diploma).
